Animation Demo lecture

A couple months ago i was asked to do a lecture at my college, just talking about what i have experienced since i left and also do a little demo on how we work.

This is the demo i did.  Basically had the weekend to prepare,  kinda had to rush through it.  I found just any random clip from a film online,  so i used this line from Dumb and Dumber.

So for those who dont know every shot we take on starts with a planning and blocking phase where you put in all the main and secondary poses like the drawings from the disney days.

And after that gets approved by the director we add in all the rest of the details and start smoothing the motion.  Like i said i could have done alot more but time was limited and seeing as it was just a demo i didnt need to make it perfect.

TriggerFish

I am currently working as a character animator at Triggerfish animation studio : Triggerfish ; We are busy finishing up our first animated feature film ZAMBEZIA.  The Bossman just got back from the Cannes film festival and the feedback so far has been great.

Just signed a couple new voices : Samuel L Jackson; Leonard Nimoy (Mr Spock); Jeff Goldblum and Abigail Breslin.

I would love to post some of my shots but am unable until the release of the film.

This is our upcoming project, already underway Khumba.  We are all really excited to start production.
This is a pilot that was made with limited resources for funding purposes.
The concept art is looking phenomenal and characters look a hundred times better.
